Feuding Japanese Clans

A Change of Scene

Paul and Lisa joined former Three Towns member Catherine Alder and other people from other local am dram groups on the 17th and 18th January 2006 in film extra work at the Historic Dockyard.

Via our contacts with John Endicott of GODS we often have the opportunity to take part in television and film work – our own 15 minutes of fame. Previously we have taken part in Foyle’s War. You will soon be able to read Penny Taylor’s experiences of this elsewhere on this website.

This particular production was a Japanese film set in the 1860’s following the true story of feudal clan members travels to the West & their learning of trades such as ship building, which they took back and used to modernise Japanese society.

These are always enjoyable experiences (albeit long days) where you have a laugh, get fed and can raise money for the Company – you won’t get rich so in the past we have donated any fees received to the Company.
